PASSION MOSCATO

Great wines are born from the Moscato Bianco di Canelli grape. The best known are Moscato d’Asti, Asti and Asti secco, that are part of the denomination of controlled and guaranteed origin (docg). Unfortunately, these wines are often linked to the industrial production, which led people to have a low-quality perception of them. There are small producers who believe in Moscato and produce great wines, with obsessive attention to detail and surprising results: a careful work both in the vineyard and in the cellar causes a better quality and the production of other wines like EsCAMOtage, our dry, still white wine. Another added value of these Moscati is the promotion of the suri: steeply sloping vineyards with the best sun exposure that allows top quality grapes, with low yields and few grapes. There are also other wines like the passiti, the metodo classico, the refermented wines, the Moscato chinato: these wines aren’t part of the docg, but can let you incredibly surprised, seeing is believing!
